We are excited to see everyone this Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Iowa TOGETHER IN TEAL Walk! You are making a difference in the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer and we at the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition are truly grateful! You have helped raise over $28,000 and counting!

The park entrance is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Minnesota St, the park is easily reached from the Grand Ave exit, exit 69 off I-35

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the park and picnic areas after the event, charcoal grills are available on-site and parking is FREE.Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook for event details!

 

MORE THAN A WALK!

at Together in TEAL!

SURVIVOR PAVILION - Anyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer is invited to the pavilion. Leave your handprint on our annual Survivor banner, meet other teal sisters, and pick up your bib, Survivor t-shirt, beads, wands, NOCC gift and more.

REWARDS PAVILION – Participants who raised $100 or more, please come to the rewards area in the registration pavilion to receive your t-shirt and other earned rewards. We are so thankful for all of you who raised money to support the NOCC’s Mission.

CHANCE TO WIN - Time to shop for items and take your chance in our Chance to Win pavilion. There are amazing items up for chance; Apple AirPods, family photo gift certificate, 801 Chop House certificate, survivor handmade wood work, lots of local boutique gift certificates and more! We will have both raffle ticket items and silent auction items. Raffle tickets are available for purchase via CASH or CHECK ONLY.  Silent Auction items can be paid with cash, check or card.

SPIRIT TENT- Show your Teal Spirit! Stop by the Spirit Tent to get a temporary tattoo, your face painted, or your hair turned Teal!  Be sure to say Hi to Becca the Balloon Lady and have her create something special for you!

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS TENT- We want to honor and remember those who have lost their life to ovarian cancer. If you are a legacy family or have lost someone to ovarian cancer, please bring a photo of them to hang in our memorial tent and write a message to honor those gone too soon. We also have a Together In TEAL Scrapbook and would love to have you create a page dedicated to your loved one. We will have cardstock, markers, scissors, stickers, and sleeve protectors available in the tent. Or, if you would like, you can create a page at home and bring it with you. Please make sure your dedication page is on 8.5x11 size paper or cardstock.

TEAM VILLAGE- New this year, we have an area where ALL teams can hang out prior to and after the event. Bring a pop-up tent and chairs, food, drinks or whatever you want to reward and celebrate your team at Together in TEAL. (The 2022 Top Team will be notified prior to the event for location details in Team Village)

MISSION VILLAGENew this year, we invite you to explore Mission Village and learn more about the work being done in your community and across the country by the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to support survivors, caregivers, and families. Collect a passport and enjoy the activities as you explore the village.
